...Great BBQ at Steve and Sarahs last night, a good amount of white wine was drunk (by me) and then we watched Mission Impossible III, only because Virgin Cable had an offer on it for one penny. Not a great film (not my type of film anyway), but for a penny it was certainly value for money.
There was discussion about the picture looking a bit blocky, not that I noticed, and then there was discussion about HD and DVD and Blue Wave and all sorts of other things, some have more lines accross, some you can play on the Playstation, some use a blue lazer, Blue Wave is HD but HD is not the same... I got very confused! I asked whether the average film watcher knows the difference anyway, or even cares... a straw poll in the room would suggest they do. I am such a luddite.
