... A few weeks ago Ivone made me a complation CD with the supurb You are the generation that bought more shoes and you get what you deserve by Johnny Boy, but it also contained a song by a band called The Bird and the Bee, which I really love. Then on Monday night they turn up on Radio 2 playing a few songs, and yesterday on 6Music. In the space of two days they have become my New favourite band!, knocking The Shins off the top spot.
I don't know if it that I am getting older, or if I just don't listen to the same radio stations as much, or if it's because I dedicate more attention to classical music, but there appears to be less bands that grab my fancy.
Anyway, I may purchase myself an album later, and see if I can tear Vivaldi from my car CD player to try and expand my musical horizens a bit!
