...but last night we met some friends in a pub I was only vaugely aware existed, despite have lived a hundred yards away from it for several years!
The Old Firehouse is everything a good pub should be - Stone walls, real ales, obscure corners to sit in, slightly stroppy staff and 'almost trendy' people. It will be our new regular I think!
We spent a good evening chatting mainly about music, I rather disturbingly found out that the Wurzels have just brought out a cover version of the Oasis song "Don't look back in anger". Yikes!
(Does anyone know where on the net I can hear it???)
