Went to my "local" pub quiz tonight.
Three teams competed - total prize money £14 plus a bottle of wine.
So we win (or so we thought)
Then the "Gremlins" as we call them started to dispute their score and it transpired that the 3rd team marked one answer wrong when it was right - so it should have been a draw.
You're talking the sum of £1.10 per person (give or taken) and they're moaning like it was the end of the world.
Still - we kept the wine with the landlord's blessing.
Get a life folks - it's a fun quiz for silly money. if you want a proper quiz without the jokes and silliness then bog off elsewhere - there's plenty of other pubs that run quizzes though from what we hear you go to those as well.
As far as we're concerned - next week it's war.
Btw - any team that writes down all the questions and the answers so they can check them deserves to be thrown to the lions.
Still - the London pride was good and I did make friends with a chihuahua called "Lola"
