So it's now Sunday and some of us are more awake than others...
Anyway it's an important day for our Island host and we convoy to church to support her.
It's a lovely and moving services, and everyone is made to feel welcome, especially someone dressed as a pirate with a parrot on his shoulder.
And before you know it people are off chasing ferries back to the mainland, and heading home...
Well indirectly, I was blessed with an overnight stay in Portsmouth and a good night's sleep before trekking back up the A3 to London.
And then it's back to reality and catching up with sleep.
