Whilst my friend and I were trying to recreate the school plan I remembered that I had some school reports in my room which my parents had kept, and which my mother had presented to us last year - much to her offspring's embarressment.
I dug them out and we read them with much laughter. Some of the comments were wonderfully humorous but I wonder whether teachers would be able to use them now. Anyway friends selected a few she might nick for the reports she'll have to write now she's returned to teaching...
PE...will be able to make better use of her ability when she learns to concentrate on the task of the moment.
PE(again)...must not give up too easily
PE (tennis)...is rather slow
Biology...generally works well but must curb her tendency to irrelevance.
Art...has worked with a bold disregard to method which should have resulted in disaster but which survived as very attractive art!
Report comments...has worked industriously throughout the course at most subjects. In others she seems to be relying on her apparent flair for last minute revision.
What really choked my friend was a comment on a 6th form report which said that I didn't contribute to class discussions.
I've certainly made up for that now!
