I seem to be seeing rather a lot of the ENT clinic - especially the waiting room. Today was no exception with over an hour's wait.
Saw the consultant which was a good thing. Some results seem to be back and it appears that the fluid that is collecting is lymphatic which needs to find it's way to drain out naturally. He did some drainage today and thinks it's slowly going down. The colour is the same as the last 3 times (looks like pee or camomile tea) but he said he'd send it off to test it again.
He wants to keep an eye on things so that means I've got to go back next week. It's to make sure that it is slowly going down and also to check that it does not get infected.
Still, good news is that my train tickets have arrived for next weekend - I'm going to stay with a SoF shipmate up North who I've never met but have spoken to on the phone. It should be fun.
I also treated myself to a new toy - "Bop It Extreme". Very childish but great fun.
