I'm sitting at w*rk surrounded by lots of paper and all I seem to be doing is shifting it from one pile to another. From "in tray" to "pending"; from "pending" to "awaiting a reply from"; from "awaiting a reply" to "needs further investigation" and "from my desk" to "your desk cos I'm not getting involved in this one now I'm leaving thank you very much"
Decided to leave next Friday as was really pissed off with manager. In many ways I would rather have been told "go now" than have all this hanging around sorting out the mess the management have managed to get themselves into. (that's what you get for thinking only in terms of profit and convenience).
Decided that I will go to w*rk do tonight - but only to the meal. It's a caribbean restaurant so will pretend that I'm languishing on a sandy beach, under a palm tree in the sun.
Decided that sometime over the weekend I will tidy up my room and put all the Christmas things away.
Oh well - back to rearranging the paperwork
