I've been preparing for Thursday.
My bedroom & bathroom have been tidied and thoroughly cleaned.
I've done the laundry - so I have clean pyjamas (Winnie the Pooh)
Bought the necessities I have to take in with me which needed replacing (toothbrush) or which make like comfortable (lipsalve).
I have had my hair cut - makes life easier as I won't be able to wash it after the op until the stitches are out.
I had a facial - I know it sounds silly but it made me feel better and I don't know whether I can even use moisturiser afterwards.
I've prayed - and last night my homegroup, vicar and elders from church prayed over me and annointed me with oil.
I just think I'll feel a right plonker now if I don't get a bed and the op doesn't go ahead tomorrow.
Then again - it's all in God's hands (even the NHS)
