Got the call this evening (after chasing).
Was frantic and stressed waiting - in the end had to chase them. Not a pleasant situation to be put in.
Anyway - there is a bed and I'm second on the theatre list.
Spent this evening phoning family; emailing friends and PMing shipmates.
Now I have to pack my bag.
Feeling apprehensive but in many ways relieved.
