Whilst w*rking at my colleague's desk yesterday an email came through:
"Have you put her in her place yet?"
Attached was a return email from my colleague to this 3rd party discussing what I'd eaten that day (especially the fact that I'd accepted a trial cereal bar that someone was passing round the office).
I feel humiliated and hurt - why discuss what I eat with someone I don't know? Is it because I'm "fat"?
Oh well - she must have such a little life if that's so important to her.
I'd forgotten just how nasty office politics can get
