OK I should know by now it would not be simple. Phoned this morning to make an appointment for jobseekers. Can't do that by phone even though I have all the paperwork. I have to go in, hand over paperwork, and make an appointment for a few days later. So I go back on Thursday to be "interviewed" and then I wait weeks for benefit to come through - all the usual stuff.
Phoned agency about the 4 hours I w*rked last Tuesday. Made a point of letting them know I was ill, but they said that they would have to see whether client will pay because I left. Looks like a fight for the £38 I'm owed. Still, I will get a P45 from them which is very important at the moment - but I doubt that will arrive before Thursday.
Throat/cold/whatever still bad - watching my peak flow very carefully at present as it had dropped from 450 to 350 this afternoon.
