I managed to clear a couple of things from my desk today - more bureaucracy but what do you expect in this day and age?
I also managed to sort out the weekend - I'm now going down on Friday afternoon and coming back on Tuesday.
That means I am able to run a lunch meet and an afternoon walk for shipmates, as well as go for a pizza in the evening - and I'm hoping two of my friends will be able to come and meet people.
It also means I am able to join in the pub quiz on Monday night that my friends go to (and I used to when I lived there for 3 months after my marriage broke up). It should be good fun - we usually do well. The problem with winning though is that I don't get to use the drinks voucher which is 1st prize.
