Having a natter

Having had an awful time in a counselling session this afternoon I was feeling really pissed off with the world. I could have walloped the sanctimonious cow. I shouldn't have gone, but it was last session postponed from early June when I had a chest infection.

So after a couple of hours in a right mood and feeling even more miserable than I was when I went I set off for our women's group.

So we're supposed to start at 8.00 but then again what's a women's group without a good old natter. By 9.00 we'd sort of managed to get on track, recapping what we'd done last month before we'd had our "emergency" (see previous archived wiblogs for details).

It's fun paraphasing stories from the Old Testament into modern day gossip: "Well Jacob was a wuss and did everything his mum told him" and "She'e got a bit more street wise by then cos she accused her or nicking her husband."

More nattering and setting the world to rights ensued and before we knew it we'd overrun by 1/2 hour.

How time flies when women get together
