Gone away

I had an awful journey to mothers on Friday.

Firstly I'd come back from the job centre, where the person dealing with me was so rude and grumpy it put me in a bad mood, and logged on to catch any last minute details of the Winchester meet. In doing so I put my mobile on my desk.

I was on the bus halfway to brentford railway station when I realised that I'd left the phone at home, and at that time I thought I needed it. Nothing for it but to get off the bus at the next stop, wait for one going back and then make a 2nd journey.

On crossing the road to head back a young girl runs straight into me & my case. I mutter under my breath & the mum says "she can't help it she's only 3 you know?" Well actually I don't "know" and anyway if she had been under parental control she wouldn't have bumped into me and if she hadn't bumped into me she'd have ran into the road. Remind me next time to let 3 year olds run in front of cars to avoid me being a victim of parental abuse.

I digress.

So I get home, pick up mobile (which it turns out no one called me on all weekend anyway. Grrrrrrrrrrrr).

By the time I get to Waterloo it's later than I'd planned.

I get on the 4.pm train. There is no room for my case where there are seats, and come to think of it no vacant seats. The train company in their wisdom have decided to put on a 5 car rather than a 10 car train at the start of the rush hour and on the full route to Weymouth which means holiday makers with cases. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I end up standing all the way.
