I met up with someone from the Ship of Fools today. We discovered last week that we lived not that far from each other, and in fact I knew her church well as I sometimes frequent the bookshop.
Anyway we decided to meet there as they have a coffee shop. We had a good natter and were then joined by one of her friends.
This is when it got interesting...
We started talking and it seemed that what I was saying was confirming to this friend what God had been sating to her.
Curiouser and curiouser...
After I'd been shown round the church I felt I had to say something to this person - and that really did hit the nerve.
Someone said "God is sneaky" - well I'm not sure about that but there was definitely something going on spiritually.
And all I was doing was having a coffee...
