After a peaceful few days, alone with the shredder, the bin-liners and the trips to the recycling bins, a return to a more normal routine was called for!
So, Tuesday and Wednesday indeed had the usual activities - a little over exciting at the end of Wednesday, but I gather the young lady who gave a number of people a fright is now feeling much better.
A little bit of a riot act had to be read, but I believe that my points have been made clearly, and more importantly, understood. Don't try teaching Japes to suck eggs, don't try organising Japes when she has been organised about all this for some weeks now, and don't overstep your boundaries, because Japes will kick you back over them again, without a second thought. I'm such a gentle soul, really....
As a result of the replies I've now had to my letters of three weeks ago, (one of which made me cry a lot, but I knew it would, so I'm glad it arrived on a day when I could cry a lot) , I've had to write a load more! 105 at the last count... it's my Christmas Card list and a few more. Luckily, a good proportion of them are e-mailable, or I shudder to think of the postage.
I will post the letters/send the e-mails after Church on Sunday. I think all the timings will work.
