but to this week! All dressed up in my best, I was, toddling along the road to the local school's Christmas Assembly, and one of the mums yelled " You're a day early...It's not until tomorrow!" So, I turned round (after poking my head around the school office door and confirming this!) and came back home to finish my breakfast, and cup of coffee which was still warm enough to be pleasant, but that would've been reheated otherwise.
I decided on a card rather than a convoluted explanatory e-mail. It's probably only me getting my proverbial undergarments in a twist, and I know if it had been the other way round, my immediate response would have been "But you weren't to know, and I did need to know what you told me."
Been pondering commitment and stick-ability in between times this week. There are those who will accuse me of having neither, and others who are admiring my stickability levels and wanting a share in them.... As well as parallels between my teenage self and mid-forties self.
