I think, I pray, that the final version is now settled. I thought I only had Tuesday Morning free to fit in everything that normally gets done on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. That got scuppered yesterday, but the Friday, which has been much more fixed and cluttered for some time, has become much less so! So, if I do everything on Friday....
I did my first full day of work for a fortnight, and it was very gratifying to have been missed. I'm not sure what it is I'm doing, but it's right, whatever it is! It's not the kind of environment where getting it wrong would be tolerated. Hopefully, next term will be more consistent. I have a fixed day to do this days work, but we've worked around some prior committments, and some other variations on the theme. So, adding in time out sick was most unhelpful.
Now, to write a very apologetic email to someone who matters to me hugely, and with whom I'm likely to have got a bit of previous email writing completely wrong. I console myself with the fact at the point I sent the e-mail, full of the gory details of Humungous Discussion and plan of campaign for his information and prayers, I was not in full possession of the facts and that I would have delayed sending the e-mail I did if I'd known what I know now... Though, come to think of it, will a second e-mail only cause more confusion, as I don't think the first will have been seen yet? Oh dear.
