When we got back from our weekend away we were both shattered and had a quiet evening and nice early night. Unfortunately we were still rudely awakened far earlier that should be allowed by my alarm so that Mr Moog could drive to work on time in another city some distance away. So I spent most of Monday being pretty tired. Lucky for me my meetings in London didn't start until after lunch, so I did have time to sort myself out before having to get the train. However it was one of those monthly trips from which I get back and manage to be in bed in the early hours, so was rather tired when I got in.
So this morning I didn't set my alarm (isn't it nice having that luxury?) and got up in my own time. I have done little all day except finish the book I was reading (which took me most of the afternoon) - Robin Hobb's Fools Fate. The final book in a trilogy I have thoroughly enjoyed. :o)
I realise typing this that I haven't actually left the house today (except to put something in the dustbin). I'll have to try and get out for a walk or whatever tomorrow, apparently we're supposed to have quite a bit of snow on Thursday so that might be a bit prohibitive as far as outdoor pursuits are concerned... Hopefully it'll be gone by the weekend if we do have snow, hubby and I have big plans for more digging/weeding/general tidying up.
