Today is my Mad Tumble Tots day. It wasn't so crazy because hubby was working at home. This makes my life very much easier because I am able to take both boys to the little one's Gymbabes group, bring them home and put him down for a nap and then go back with Munchkin for his Tumble Tots class. In the mean time hubby carries on working as normal while Pumpkin has his nap. Today when I got back with Munchkin at lunchtime they were eating already but apparently Pumpkin had only woken up 10 minutes earlier.
I love seeing the boys growing and developing their confidence. The Tumble Tots programme has been amazing for Munchkin - he's brilliant at climbing and balancing and really enjoys all that physical stuff. Pumpkin is really coming on too in that he is able to climb up (and down) ladders easily and fairly safely, he always turns around and pushes himself off things backwards. He isn't even walking yet! The best thing about these Thursdays when hubby is home is being able to properly concentrate on each son while they are doing their class. It's a bit crazy otherwise...
We had our car serviced today. We were provided with a courtesy car for the day. It was a hybrid - a Honda Insight. I quite liked it and even considered whether it would be a viable (affordable) alternative to our Jazz. But there were just a couple of things I didn't like about it in the short time I had it that mean I won't really be pursuing it too hard. Firstly, the seatbelt in the back is really hard to clip in next to Munchkin's car seat - which is every time you strap him in. Could get really annoying. Secondly, fuel consumption not that much better than the Jazz over the little runs I was doing today (around 47 mpg, we usually get at least 45 mpg around town). It doesn't have as much boot space!!! Not good when you have two kids to cart around all the time!!
