I am back home. It's boiling. I had forgotten how much a difference the 'sea breeze' actually makes. It was lovely in Swansea - terribly hot on Saturday, but cooler today. Everything went very well and hubby and I had a wonderful weekend. It was fab to meet LB's future hubby, and to catch up with lots of friends.
Right now I need to go and stand outside to cool off a bit.. the house was hot and stuffy when I got home, and although the first thing I did was fling wide as many windows as possible, things don't really seem to be improving. In the interests of getting some sleep I might have to put the fan on timer (last year we bought this wonderful fan that you can set to turn off after up to 120 minutes, it's great!! we set it before we go to bed to get air movement enough to allow us to get off into the land of nod without worrying about the needless wasting of electricity were it to be left on all night).
