CAn you believe it? We've been married three years today ..... my goodness, December 2005 I was unattached, living in Sydney, and vaguely planning a European/Canadian vacation and future townhouse purchase ... December 2009 I'm sitting in the study of MY HOUSE, listening to MY HUSBAND snore (alright, breathe loudly!) on the couch, and living in an entirely different state!
My goodness it kinda takes my breath away ... but in a seriously good way!
We were greeted fairly early this morning (though we had actually been out for a walk) by my parents serenading us via the phone for our anniversary - they are seriously cute and very thoughtful :) ... and also slightly delirious from just having spent the first night in 9 months with their bedroom door open - my brother and his family moved into their new house on Monday and spent their first night there last night (Tuesday) .... :)
Anyway, it's been a lovely day, and we just had a lovely dinner (can't remember the last time we actually went the full fling and ordered entree, main, AND dessert) and now .. we're just so romantic you won't believe it ... he's asleep on the couch in front of the telly and I'm paying bills ....
Yep, it's all pink hearts and chocolates over here :) ... and I love it!
