of solar lights and paper cuts and other bits and bobs

We washed the dog today ... it had been quite sunny and warm but, of course, just as we started it 'commenced to pour' (to use the words of a character from a novel that I can't remember the name of ... is it Poirot?). Anyhoo, he wasn't impressed, we got soaked, but he's washed now and will be washed every three or four weeks from now on.

On a side note, it's quite hard to type when you have a paper cut at the top of your right ring finger - ouchy!

I bought a set of 10 solar powered lights on sale yesterday, put them together this morning, and Mr Tasmania has set them out around the garden this evening. It's lovely and cheer to come home to little lights glowing blue/white in the garden ... very nice indeed.

That's about it really ... oh, we went to the big bonfire and firecracker night at Mr Tasmania's school last night - I must saythe baked potato with sour cream, cheese, and coleslaw was scrumptious - the bonny was HUGE, and the fireworks really great - love fireworks - went on for about 20 minutes, excellent stuff!

Otherwise, it was housework and not much in the garden ... though hopefully I can remedy that tomorrow!
