Went to see Varekai last night at Fox Studios, the latest effort by Cirque du Soleil. One word:
Ohmygodtotallyawesomecompletelyfabulousamazingoverwhelmingfantastic!
And that's just the costumes :)
Seriously, one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen, anywhere. I went with good intentions of probably just buying the soundtrack if I liked it but ended up buying the DVD too, it was just too good not to be able to see it again.
If you've seen it, my favourites were the 'flying' twins ... mirror images who hung and swung and danced on enormous ropes and cables ... incredible
and they're all so fit! and flexible!
and the little chinese girls with the weights on the end of ropes were not only cute but also awesomely good!
money well spent that!
