I have been to the chiropractor this morning, for the first time in my life - not bad for 36 :) I guess.
My back, as you know, has been a bit sore the last fortnight, after I pulled some muscles (I thought) ... last night, whilst putting something on a plate!, it went out with a thump! No real pain involved but a lot of shock - BroBoss and ChileGirl saw it happen and were a bit freaked out. So, I slept but was uncomfortable all last night, and they got me in to their (very popular) chiro first thing this morning.
Thank you Jesus it's 'only' a strained/sprained/stretched ligament - something or other lumbar - basically, my lower right back has a sprain! So, antiinflammatories, ice, rest, no lifting etc etc .... and I have to drive a lot tomorrow and catch a plane on Sunday am - which is fine, but will hurt. I guess forewarned is forearmed. He basically said my back is tired and needs a break - so do I!
I had a little meltdown on poor mum last night, I guess it was a shock and I just have so many things to do in the next 3 weeks, so I was really scared about how, if it was really bad ie a disk!, it would affect everything - and who wants to damage a disk 3 weeks before their wedding!
Ah well, it could have been tremendously worse - and I don't know what I'd have done if he'd said I couldn't fly - I haven't seen my boy for 5 weeks! I think I would have walked to Tassie!!!!
