I think I have mentioned that I am doing a pottery class and am currently working on a mosaic for our chimney. I will have to take some before and after pics I've decided, from grey and boring ie just a chimney to, hopefully, an EXPLOSION of colour!
The weather yesterday was so lovely, it's so encouraging and really helps you get through the rest of Winter - yes, I know there's not much of it left, but warmth and sunlight is different to cold and sunlight!
While the flora of this area is lovely, in Winter it has a tendency to be plain old dark green and that's about it. So I'm looking for winter flowering low maintenance drought tolerant plants to plant and propagate. A fun project! Also, have decided that there will be a lot of mirrors within the chimney mosaic - so in Winter even the slightest hint of sunlight will cause a sparkle!
