of raining ...

and I actually don't mind :)
,
Because we had a wonderful, gorgeous, sunny warm weekend, it truly was beautiful. We got so much done at the block, and at the shack, including washing the dog (well overdue!), and now it's raining in some of the plants I put in the garden (a geranium I struck three months ago, coastal rosemary and purple daisy - also struck myself - and transplanted two LARGE geraniums from a very very small pot into the 'car park' shrubbery border) which is great.

It is also relieving my brought up in a much drier and hence prone to bushfires area mind ... we lit a couple of piles of leaves at the block yesterday, they burnt down but were still smouldering when we left. Mr Tasmania is very blase as they're surrounded by wet leaves and very very green grass .. but I grew up on sand, in dry sclerophyll eucalyptus bush (very dry very quickly - and burns like bomb blast!), and leave smouldering fires is very very hard for me ....

but, no phone calls from the stupid neighbour (long story) or even the nice ones, no reports of massive bushfires behind Wynyard, and now rain over the entire state means a happy Mrs Tasmania :)

Mr Tasmania is possibly not quite so happy as he's out walking the dog in the rain ...
