Ms Miff says she'll never be able to think of it in the same way again; not after seeing it performed by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain this evening. Yes.. Ukulele! The same goes for 'Le Freak,' (have a listen to it on their website), 'Wuthering Heights,' (surprised that that one could get any weirder than the original!) and goodness knows how many others. Wonderful! We may not be London, but we're nothing if not cosmopolitan round here. ;) And of course the evening wouldn't have been complete without 'Leaning On a Lampost!' Wish I'd realised they were on. I'd have loved to have seen them.
Now where was I? I was intending to blog about blogs, Christmas, retreats, work, courses, and sundry other bits and pieces - but it'll have to wait. Time I was tucked up with a cup of cocoa and a hot water bottle.
