Yes, we all trooped down to the station at 8.00 a.m. this morning to bid Mr Miff a fond farewell. He should even now be well on his way to catching Eurostar, armed only with his panniers, and some extra stuff in a luminous pink holdall. Little Miff took some photos on the platform which I'll publish as soon as his sister has shown him how to put them on the pc.
So today sees the beloved en route to Paris. From there he's driving to Strasbourg where he's staying the night. Then tomorrow, he's really off; cycling from Stasbourg out to Obernai, and from there striking out towards Luxembourg. If you're a keen cycling fan, or just one of those anal types, all the technical details, lists of equipment you could ever wish for are all over in his blog. (See my links). For those who've tried (unsucessfully) to comment in the past, I've now altered the settings, so you shouldn't have to have a blogger account to be able to chip in.
