Sadly my school wasn't closed today - though many in the area were. But actually I had quite a good day. I now have a desk and cupboards so somewhere to put stuff and to work (for the first time ever I am without my own classroom and this has come as a bit of a blow, but the space should help). I have also realised that while my desk in my classroom was never tidy the rest of my room was extremely well organised and I don't like being in rooms where text and exercise books are all over the place never mind the rest of the clutter. I like to know where things are and all that jazz - something I only really appreciate when I don't have my own space.
When I have a piece of paper with me I will share a gem from some mocks I am still marking from my old school - hold tight to your seats in excitement... or maybe not.
