Someone has threatened me with losing interest if I don't let you know my news soon. So I bow down to pressure and will tell you want you don't really need to know!
I'll start at the very beginning (a very good place to start), Tuesday night I was in the bath, the phone rang, and with some splashing I answered it. It was the Head of a school I had applied to, he had received my letter that day and was very impressed. He asked me to go along after work the following day for an informal interview. So I did, not expecting this to be an occasion where one was offered, or not, a job. However he did! Offer me a job that is. I asked for a bit of time to decide whether to accept it and circumstances were such that I decided to accept and phoned him first thing yesterday. He described me as an answer to prayer, which is nice!
I am going to visit the school properly after half term and will start in January. It is a lot closer to home so I will save well over an hour each day on travelling.
It's very exciting! (well for me that is)
