I cope with an awful lot of small creatures (it was always me who got rid of spiders when I shared a house with two blokes) but I have a real problem with ants. If there had been a man within screaming distance this afternoon I would have run indoors and put my feet up on the sofa - along with the rest of me that is. As it was there was just little old me and about 20 billion ants in my garden. I really needed to mow the grass as it had been weeks and my cat was beginning to disappear. I pulled myself together, cut the grass, then dug in ant powder (so hopefully cat will be ok as I buried it). My garden is very small and I think I had enough ants for at least the whole road.
I hate ants.
