Sound like jargon? It is of course exactly that. Reality is that we sit around and very enthusiastically (not) mutter about what we do, realise that, given subject differences, we are basically all doing the same sort of stuff, or choosing not to do stuff for the same reasons.

We then, as a group, have to choose our three key ideas and we all listen to each others three key ideas. Three - sounds simple, not a big number to count to, not easy to lose track of three - you'd think. Clearly the concept of choosing three ideas out of a list is foreign to some people who whitter ever on until they have bored the rest stupid. Then the next one - not wanting to appear to be able to follow instructions does the same, and the next etc. The really annoying thing is that the Head didn't remind them of how to count to three.

Waste of time given they are going to write everything down for us to read.

Meetings - don't you love them?
