There was a man on the course I went on today who would collapse of shock if he ever had to even walk into a comprehensive school, never mind converse with the pupils.

After some of us had been explaining that if you are specifically wanting three types of pollution to gain certain marks then you should say so (I object to an exam in mind reading) this chap waded in with

"I must offer the disenting voice, I think that if a pupil is told to 'give your opinion' then they should know that they have to discuss religious viewpoints covering at least two viewpoints and come to their own conclusion"

Now, I taught my pupils that this is what they should do, but I still think it is fairer to say 'how far do you agree, give reasons for your answer showing you have considered more than one opinion.'

I reckon he should go to the school I used to teach in where I got a chair thrown at my head.

A good day generally, but I wouldn't want to go into London everyday.
