After the last valuing of my house we pondered what we were going to do today. Looking through the Real Essex booklet, inspiration did not strike. We decided to head into London instead, we studied the London website but didn't really feel like anything too intellectual so settled on a visit to the shop of London Transport Museum and Harrods. I haven't been to Harrods in a number of years, infact I can't remember it but think I have probably been before. We were wandering around when one woman said to her small child "yes you must be tired, afterall we have been here all day" and at about 6pm that's quite something. Oooh, we also went to Stanfords which is just the best shop ever. So many maps, travel books, globes, photo books it's heavenly. And they now have maps all over their floors (they are meant to be there).
I was rather overjoyed to be able to look at this map of London Underground both before and after my tube journeys.
