Well I made it! At least survived until 5pm when I fell asleep in the campervan whilst supposedly helping Dave do some work on it. I am clearly not made for early mornings.
The main service was absolutely packed - there were Confirmations going on and one Baptism which would explain the desperate last minute chair putting out that happened (they had already planned for more but they just kept coming). The choir was stunning again - we had a burst from the Hallelujah Chorus and a Spiritual as well as other stuff. I would love to be in that Choir, unfortunately I am a woman!*
People have been so lovely during the time I have been on crutches - it almost makes it worth it. I have spoken to so many more people who feel they have something to say to me now, an excuse to chat, which is great.
*I don't usually mind being a woman you understand, only when it means I can't be in Sara's splendid Choir.
