Did they not know they were going on holiday? I suspect they did but they just didn't bother considering those who are below them in the chain. Well why would they start now, they never have before. So the earliest I will possibly hear something more about when I can move is Monday. But in fact it won't be Monday because, as they have been saying for the last three weeks, they need to sort out an indemnity which apparently takes no time at all - in which case why isn't it done?
