Within a very short time it is possible to realise how a group is going to gel. One of the groups I had today was Not Good - I cheered myself with the thought that I only have to teach them for the next two years. But that's OK, as long as the key manipulator is allowed to be rewarded with pizza and friends round while behaving in less than half his classes I don't stand a chance.
