Is it a good thing when the cat shifts fur dropping allegiance from the chair to the new rug?
Good
Don't have to hurriedly clean the chair off when visitors arrive
Chair doesn't get so worn
Cat likes the rug
Bad
Rug covered in fur, the chair was easier to clean
