Me and two of my friends did this, on June 22nd. It didn't rain, and some of the service users from the hostel came to sleep out too, although one of them said we were "cheating" because we had sleeping bags, and cardboard boxes were provided! He may well have had a point, because for someone on the streets, I don't think for a second that it would be as comfortable as we were! We are currently collecting sponsor money, but it is about raising awareness as much as money. The issues of homeslessness and issues linked to homeslessness will not go away.
