I have been sponsoring Hayk for three or four years now. he lives in Sisian in Armenia. I admit when I said on my application that I wanted my money to go where it was needed most, I was expecting to get a child from Africa to sponsor. I have learned so much about how the Soviet bloc split has affected the quality of life and cost of living in Armenia. 1 in 5 children die before the age of 8. Hayk is now 14 so he's bucking the stats. This is best thing I've ever done. If you are considering it, go for it.
