Why is "met" in speech marks? For the simple reason that I didn't speak to him! He had his head down signing my copy of That Mitchell and Webb Book, last October at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Rob handed my book back when he'd signed it, I said thank you and he said "A pleasure". riveting conversation, I know. I know how lucky i am to get any where near David but I so wish I'd had the nerve to say something to him. He did speak to other people before and after me, but me being not quite so starstruck would've helped, I'm sure! D'oh!
