Our school is a polling station so the kids aren't in (staff are), so its a training day. Support staff like me can catch up with stuff, which I have been doing, so I'm not just writing a blog!
I will be voting with my dad later on today when we go home. He works just down the road from me, so we meet up so he can get a lift home! I have no idea who to vote for in the general or local elections. I never do! I know I should vote because women died to get me the vote (as I'm female). My mum reminds me every time of this, and she's right. Still doesn't make deciding any easier though, even when you have read all the literature!
The Special Needs Coordinator needed to see a mother of a learner, but the mother couldn't come in unless she bought the learner, plus two younger sisters with her, so me and the teaching assistants have been babysitting. There's been feverish drawing, colouring and running around looking at books been going on in here!
I've been spending the school's money. I've put two orders in for fiction books that will come in due course, and some companies send boxes of books they choose out for you to look at and then you can decide if you want them or not. I've decided to purchase both boxes I've had recently, so I'm cataloging them now. Then they'll be labelled ready for the shelves.
