was on August 8th. Despite so many people being on holiday (which is why I've only had a handful of birthday parties in my entire life), we got a great turnout. Food and DJ were great, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. It was fantastic to see everyone, and quite humbling too. I asked for money that could donate to chosen charities rather than presents. I did get lovely presents from people, and also some money...£300! I am still in shock, as it means I will give £100 each to three charities. I had hoped I would be able to help my sponsor child in Armenia and his community, but did not expect to get enough. I have, and I'm amazed by everyone's kindness and genorosity!
