My housegroup is great, if you don't go to one, please be encouraged to do so. Last night we were trying to make head or tail of the new term's worth of studies (We normally do our own thing, but occasionally the church gets all the small groups to do something in synchrony). Our pastor has written a 5 week study on prayer, it sounded great, then we saw what we had to do was to make sense of what appeared to be sermon notes, and do a study on 10 verses of Genesis, but with 24, yes, twenty-four chapters as a background. We decided to do it in 2 parts and come back next week, having read Genesis 25:19-49:33. So out of sync already? That's us!
