May 5th The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore.
I know, we're going out for ice cream later, and I don't want to jinx anything, but it looks nice enough and I don't believe in jinxes. This is a fantastic song. Written and recorded originally by The Walker Brothers, it will come as no surprise to anyone that knows me that my favourite version is that contained in the film Truly Madly Deeply which stars the magnificent Alan Rickman, who along with Juliet Stevenson sings this song with style. Unfortunately there was never a soundtrack released to this film, which is a great pity. One day I will have to make my own.
In other news we have spent the weekend getting the house spick and span to impress the valuers. Anyone interested in a 3 bd, det house on the sunny side of Swansea, please let us know.
