May 21st: Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
For no particular reason other than it seemed to sum up our housegroup tonight (Rev 2, 8-11), well the verse about looking on the bright side of death did anyway. Written for the film The Life of Brian, it didn't become a hit until this man played it every morning on his breakfast show, in the days when Radio 1 still meant something (1991), and it got to number 3. Incidentally, talking of the Pythons, Graham Chapman went to my school.
