Light in the blustery darkness....

Which, today, is actually about more than my simple grumpinesses :) and more to do with the Lantern procession coming up in the local area. The youth group I co-lead will be doing two nights of lantern making and looking forward to it muchos I is too. Innit. Spent the day, time I do not have in any way shape or form but was so grumpy about where I have been spending time recently I thought I'd go for it anyway, in a lantern making workshop and was masses of fun. Witness this one, the fruits of my mornings efforts once we'd done all of the chatting and getting to know each other done and dusted... Looking forward to seeing the kids faces when I tell 'em the theme on sunday morning.

I tell you what though they were a pig to picture, and it's raining a storm outside so no chances of a reshoot even if I did have the gusto to do so. Hah, like that phrase; shall use it somewhere, along with my new catchphrase for my daughter on the school run which is 'move your buttley Muttley'.

In other news, still trying to find that one quote that'll set the book fest alight with tales of my verbal prowess but beginning to think that that may not happen (which may be an indication of whether it's deserved or not). Lots of emails sent out now but out of time for that sort of thing, work is beckoning fast. As I look closer I'm beginning to wonder if it's beckoning with a mallet in hand.
