Couple of small updates:

On this very weeks issue of Doctor Who Adventures I notice that I am, in fact, a close and personal friend of one of the cover stars which is very exciting for all concerned.

Regular reader will know that my daughter went to a Doctor Who theme birthday party a while ago and muchos fun was had. Since then I think everyone involved in it flooded the magazine with photos until one, a picture of Andrew, was chosen and slapped onto not only the reader pictures page but also onto the front cover as well. His mum and brother were out last night so we got visited instead and shared in the excitement :) Anyhow he made a top Doctor and hopefully, when they need an actor to play the Doctor as a small child, they know where to go...

That's the half up thing, although, as daughters copy of Doctor Who mag hasn't turned up in the post yet it is tempered by a slight grumpiness from her direction.

There is a half down thing but for the moment don't know what to say about it so despite having typed it out twice and then blanked it I'll have to come back to that one. As is have a lot to do now (teaching two slots today) so back to the grind. Lets just say that ticket sales for the accidental author evening could be a little more encouraging...* Still, as everyone keeps reminding me, the stuff I've done for other people during the festival has been very successful. It doesn't help, but gives them something to say if nothing else to try and cheer me up.

*massive understatement.

Currently listening to: Five Iron Frenzy: The end is here/near. My constant musical companion and suitably fits the mood at the moment. Currently playing: Loco Roco: PSP.Current socks being worn: Tigger bouncing. Current prayer request: That Weds will go well..With an audience in attendance preferably.
